    Residues from boiling filtered water. How can this be?

    Impurities in the water before filtering: If the water already contained impurities that were not completely removed by the activated charcoal filter, these impurities may have been concentrated during the boiling process, resulting in residues.

    Overloading the filter: If the activated charcoal filter is overloaded, it may not be able to remove all impurities effectively. This could result in certain impurities, such as limescale, remaining in the water in higher concentrations and building up during cooking.

    Insufficient filter maintenance: Activated charcoal filters must be regularly maintained and replaced to maintain their effectiveness. If the filter has not been properly maintained, its performance may decrease over time, resulting in insufficient removal of impurities.

    Boiling process: In some cases, residues can be created by the boiling process itself, especially if the water has been heavily evaporated and mineral residues remain.

    Mineralize filter: Filters out only contaminants - important minerals remain in the water

    It is important to note that activated carbon filters cannot remove 100% of all contaminants, and effectiveness may vary depending on the specific contaminants in the water. In some cases, it may therefore be advisable to consider additional water treatment methods

    Wie funktioniert der Filterzähler an Ihrer Wasserkaraffe?

    Der Zähler an Ihrer Karaffe für ionisiertes Wasser zeigt an, wann der Filter gewechselt werden muss. Hier ist die Funktionsweise:

    Start/Reset Button: Wenn Sie einen neuen Filter einsetzen oder die Karaffe zum ersten Mal verwenden, drücken Sie den START-Button für 7-10 Sekunden. Dadurch wird der Zähler zurückgesetzt.

    Die Tagesanzeige (60 Tage): Das Display zeigt eine Zahl (im Bild: 60) an. Diese Zahl gibt an, wie viele Tage bis zum nächsten Filterwechsel verbleiben. Der Zähler zählt automatisch von 60 rückwärts bis auf 0. Wichtig zu verstehen: Dies sind keine Prozent, sondern tatsächliche Tage!

    Die Balkenanzeige (Prozent): Rechts neben dem Display sehen Sie vier Balken mit einer Prozentskala (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%). Diese zeigen visuell die verbleibende Filterlebensdauer in vier Stufen an. Je weniger Balken gefüllt sind, desto näher rückt der Filterwechsel.

    Wann sollten Sie den Filter wechseln? Wenn der Zähler bei 0 angekommen ist und keine Balken mehr gefüllt sind, ist es Zeit für einen neuen Filter. Dann drücken Sie wieder 7-10 Sekunden auf START, um den Zähler neu zu starten.

    Warum hat meine Valeacell Karaffe kein Emblem/Symbol unten? Meine Karaffe hat kein Emblem, keine „Blume des Lebens" oder Aluminium-Platte unten. Ist das eine billige Fälschung?

    Nein – das ist Absicht! Valeacell nutzt bewusst KEINE optischen Täuschungen zur Ionisierung.

    So funktioniert echte Ionisierung:

    • Aktivkohle-Filter (entfernt Schadstoffe)
    • Mineralische Kugeln im Filter (erzeugen alkalisches Wasser mit pH 8,5-9,4)
    • Keine gravierte "Blume des Lebens" nötig – das ist reine Optik ohne Funktion

    Der Beweis ist wissenschaftlich:

    • Kaufen Sie einen pH-Teststreifen (~2€ in der Apotheke)
    • Testen Sie das gefilterte Wasser selbst
    • pH-Wert 8,5-9,4 = echte Ionisierung ✓

    Viele billige Karaffen haben:

    • ✗ Gravierte Symbole (sieht gut aus, macht nichts)
    • ✗ Aluminium-Platten (optischer Bluff)
    • ✗ „Energetisierungs"-Sticker (keine Funktion)
