In living spaces, various high-frequency signal transmitters such as Wi-Fi routers, mobile phone masts (including 5G) and Bluetooth devices interact on a daily basis. The Valeacell Faraday shielding canopy provides a physical barrier to attenuate these high-frequency fields in the sleeping area.

How it works & fabric structure

The shielding is based on fundamental electro-physical laws:

• Silver-fibre hybrid fabric: The core fibres of the lightweight textile fabric are coated with a fine layer of pure silver. The weave forms a conductive mesh that reflects incoming radio waves.
• Physical attenuation: Reduces the incidence of high-frequency waves within the frequency range of common wireless standards (3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
• Comfortable sleeping environment: The mesh-like fabric is skin-friendly, odour-resistant and ensures unhindered air circulation.

Care and cleaning instructions

To maintain the electrical conductivity and silver coating in the long term, please follow these recommendations:

• Hand washing in cold water (maximum 30 to 40 °C) is recommended.
• Use only mild, pH-neutral detergents without added enzymes or bleaching agents.
• Do not wring out, do not iron, do not dry-clean and do not tumble dry.
• Hang indoors in a shaded area and protect from direct sunlight to prevent silver oxidation.
